This website is operated by the Evans Trust and we take your privacy seriously.
We hold and are responsible for basic personal information you give us. We are regulated under the General Data Protection Regulations which apply across the European Union (including the United Kingdom) and we are responsible as ‘controller’ of that personal information for the purposes of those laws.
If you give us information about another person, you confirm that the other person has appointed you to act on their behalf and agreed that you:

We collect information about our users for the purposes of allowing and monitoring the use of Property at Canty Bay as per the Deed of Trust dated 1936 and as updated in Trustees Minutes. We also hold data of former members of Charlotte Chapel Scout Group, Supporters and Donors who have consented to receive information from time to time on the ongoing work and progress at Canty Bay.

We will not share your information with any other third parties, unless required to do so by law enforcement agencies in connection with any investigation to help prevent unlawful activity.
We will not hold your personal information for longer than necessary. You may request your information to be deleted at any time, and we will remove your data after 6 years if we have had no contact with you.
The lawful basis upon which we hold your personal information is our legitimate interest and duties as Trustees for Canty Bay. We will only contact you with information with your consent.
We will use all reasonable efforts to keep your personal data secure, to prevent it being lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way. We limit access to your personal information to those who have a genuine need to know it and are subject to a duty of confidentiality. We will notify you of any suspected security breach, although in giving us your data you acknowledge that the internet is not 100% secure and that we cannot guarantee the security or integrity of personal data transferred from or to you via the internet.
